Okonomiyaki Flavored Boca Burgers

This was quick and lazy, because I was hungry and didn't want to spend a lot of time making something to eat. I was watching a documentary on El Bulli, the 3 star molecular gastronomy restaurant in Spain that closed last year.  So, although I was lazy, I was feeling a bit inspired.

I had two Boca Burgers to work with.  So, I decided to make them okonomiyaki style.  I warmed them in the microwave, and topped them with okonomiyaki  sauce (well, really takoyaki sauce, but it's basically the same thing), aonori powder and Kewpie brand mayonaise.  I wanted to add Bonito flakes to the top, but I couldn't find them in my pantry (note to self, time to clean out the pantry!)

So, here's my creation! What do you think?

It looks delicious and really inventive. Okonomiyaki is my favourite now among Japanese dishes (it might change in a couple of months), so I make it quite often with different variations. What is the mysterious face on your plate?
(I also often cannot find items in my kitchen... Too much stuff and not enough discipline to keep it tidy and in order).

Hah, I'm glad I'm not the only one to have that problem! Some of my best inventions have been when I'm too lazy to cook, and throw things together quickly. ;O) The mysterious face... I found this series of plates at a thrift store, each with a picture and "mock" scientific name... This one had a face and "Fatica Phacia" or something like that. I'll try to remember to pull them down and take a picture. They're completely silly, but I think they're delightful!
