Wow - I do in fact have a blog! So, I guess I should use it!
My new guitar - lovely, lovely, but she's too large for me. She sounds so wonderful that I don't really care. I bought her used, and even though I knew she was too big, I had to have her.
Unfortunately, she had a catastrophic accident - the latch to her case apparently doesn't fasten down easily.... I heard a click and she fell out, damaging her top. I almost starting crying right then.

Wow - I *do* have a blog don't I?
I had trouble pulling up this blog to post for some reason... and then forgot about it until recently. So, to jump right into things....
I bought a new guitar! Takamine C134Sm, built in 1980. Wouldn't you know it - I took it to a friend's house, and discovered (catastophically) that the latches to the case leave much to be desired. I'd fastened them down, took my guitar in the other room to show my friend, and suddenly "click" the latches are open, and my guitar falls out. Now I have a couple of ugly marks and a nasty gash! I almost started crying right there.

The Compulsory Introduction
I'm turning 30 soon, but feel much younger! I sew and crochet quite a bit, but I'm interested in a huge variety of crafts. I've made soap from fats and lye, made cheese, and body scrubs. I have a huge list of things I want to try.
My life's been a bit boring lately - I work full time, have my crafts to keep me busy, and am starting school again.
I'm a former Marine, and I used to love the club scene. I've gone white water rafting, sky diving, cliff diving, and scuba diving. I was stationed in Okinawa, and loved it! I want to go back to Japan someday, preferably spend a year or two there. My interests are more mundane now - finances and being married cuts into the crazy fun life. I've filled that need for something new by making things.
I have ADD, so I have a lot of unfiinished projects and a really dirty, half-painted house. I'm gradually forcing myself to get better about that.
I love all sorts of international cuisine - and I love to cook everything from homemade bread and biscuits to Indian or Japanese style curry. I'll post pics and recipes. ;O)
